Sunday Inspiration on Wednesday

Sunday’s church service spoke on being connected and staying connected to God.

Just wanted to share a few words:

Stay Connected

As Christians in order to be saved, stay connected to God and to be redeemed from a sinful past one needs to acknowledge and accept Jesus as their savior.

Only through him can one guarantee a place in heaven for eternity.

But it does not end there as some say: “Once saved you are saved”

Not really…

Once one is saved (acknowledged and accepted Jesus) there is no siting back, relaxing and letting God deal with it- there are rules to abide in. The way of life once lived has to be abandoned and replaced instead with a shield of/for Christ.

Proverbs 16:7

7 When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Despite being a Christian in order to stay on the straight path and connected to God always involve him in your plans and abide to his laws.

Do you have a clear communication line with God.

Isaiah 59:1-2

59:1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; 2 but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

There is nothing worse off than a Christian claiming to be served and claiming to know God yet his connection to/with God was cut off long before he knew.

Living in limbo need not be your portion.

Review your life- are you still connected to God?

If it means recharging your spiritual battery, changing networks or!  location- then so be it.

Be blessed
